Forget the button-down sports desk. Tailgates & Tallboys is what happens when four guys who’ve spent way too much time in a parking lot with a grill and a cooler decide to talk Golden Eagles football. This isn’t ESPN GameDay — there’s no confetti, no polished panel, no pretending we don’t have strong opinions about which tailgate has the best brisket. This is The Upper Cumberland’s pregame party, live on the radio, three hours before every kickoff.
Every Tennessee Tech home game, we roll into Tucker Stadium territory with the best Classic Rock to crack a cold one to, some genuinely funny (and occasionally unhinged) sports talk, and just enough football analysis to sound like we know what we’re doing. Think less “breaking down the film,” more “breaking down why the offensive line reminds us of our fantasy football league.”
